First impressions are important they say and that is certainly true in digital audio visual. Our title is our opening gambit and as such it needs to be powerful, interesting and stylish. If we can create something a little different to others, then that is a pleasant bonus. A title sets the scene in our show and it is vital that we choose something that is fitting to our images and is creative too. We must not get carried away though as some of the most stylish titles can be simply black on white or white on black.

In this DVD we have packed it full of title ideas, techniques and demos, all in full screen videos. No corners are cut here as all our videos show how we created the titles in Photoshop and also how they were applied them in PicturesToExe 5.5. Here we demonstrate a number of ideas that once seen can be tweaked and adjusted in a thousand ways.

We have an enormous variety of layer styles available to us in Photoshop and when we combine those with some creative thought. the sky’s the limit.

Creating titles is a fascinating and interesting part of the slide show creation process and modern software spoils us for choice. We have provided many of the demos and derivitives from those demos that we created while recording the DVD. We have provided them in two formats so you should see our demos as we intended them to be seen.

We have also included the files we used in our Age of Steam Oval text section, so you can open them from the extras menu page and open the project files we created to see just how the titles where constructed.
