Photography must be a little like fishing, we don't always bag the masterpieces everytime we go out with the camera. Just the like the fisherman who does not catch a specimen every time he goes fishing. We would like to, but that doesn't happen in real life does it? If you are like us and I suspect you are, you may often come back from a days shooting and are a little disappointed with what you have captured. We have great anticipation of visiting a place we know can produce good photographs, but we get stuck with that dull lifeless lighting. When we look at the resulting thumbnails we accept that the weather and lighting were against us and move on to the next project. No problem with that so far, but go back to those images some time later as that is what we did here and you may find there is life in those pictures after all.

We shot these images in 2007 and looking at them again a year later an idea came to mind and you can see the result in the thumbnails above.

Here we demonstrate what we did with those reject images to create the audio vidual sequence that you can download above. As well as creating these effects for an AV, the technique is also perfect for some great art style prints that look really good printed onto matt paper. Follow along with our simple process and see how we created this slide show in one evening and an hour in the morning. Quick, simple yet, very effective.
