More Information
This
download contains 26 minutes of video and a PicturesToExe
Demo of the images and technique we cover.
We are always
looking to create a slide show that is a little different, well natural frames
and borders are all around us and we can use those to frame our images in a slide
show. Here we use Photoshop to cut out the center of our image leaving us with
a perfect frame. We demonstrate that process without the use of complicated or
time consuming selections. We will show you via a layer mask that it takes 2 minutes
to create our frame.
We show how to bring
further images into use with your frame and how
to size those images perfectly. While we will be
working in Photoshop the techniques we describe
can be carried out the same in Photoshop Elements,
except you would need to use the eraser tool in
place of a mask.
We also take the
images into PTE and use the timeline to program
the short demo sequence. In this tutorial we choose
to create our images at 1024 by 768 pixels. If that
sequence was to be played on a PC screen running
the same resolution all would be well, but...........
If the same slide show is played on a monitor running
a higher resolution then the images will be stretched
to fit the screen. That distorts the format we carefully
arranged and destroys some of the image quality
too. We take you through the process of how you
retain the image size you want and be confident
the slide show will play how you want it on any
monitor at any resolution.
The best way to see
just what this downloadable video covers is to download the slide show demos first.
