This DVD is dedicated to shooting and manipulating images in Adobe Camera Raw. It is accepted that the very best quality images are obtained when we manipulate raw data captured by our camera. The alternative is to allow our camera software to make its best guess for us at the time we shoot the image. Now as good as that best guess often is, it cannot be better than making changes ourselves manually based on the style of image we want to produce and being able to see what we are doing.

Recently Adobe launched Camera Raw 4.1, that has already been upgraded now to 4.4.1 and that brought new options into Elements Camera Raw. We have many new controls and at some stage in this DVD we will be looking at the vast majority of them. The difference between Camera Raw 4.1 and 4.4.1 is only new cameras added to the list. The main Raw software is the same in 4.1 and 4.4.1.

These changes are only available for Photoshop CS3, Elements 5 and Elements 6 and they are the best reason to upgrade to Elements 6 that we can think of. In this DVD we deal exclusively with camera raw, working with Smart Objects, but of course Elements 6 doesn’t have the Smart Objects we have with Photoshop. Well, maybe not, but we will demonstrate how you can achieve the same thing with a bit of creative thought. The Camera Raw plugin is a powerful upgrade. If you do not have this latest Raw convertor you may need to visit www.adobe.com and download Adobe Camera Raw 4.4.1

As usual our DVD is packed with tutorials and information in full screen video. All the start and finished images are included to allow you to follow the tutorial with our images if you wish. Our finished images are included to enable you to evaluate them after the work we have done.
