Camera Craft - Learn to use a Digital SLR Camera

Intro Video as an Mp4
These tutorials assumes you are a user of a digital SLR camera, but it is not dedicated to any particular make or model of camera. It doesn't need to, because all Digital SLR cameras work in the same way. what we are going to learn here is how to use a digital SLR. All cars are different, but fundamentally the same. Each has a wheel on each corner, an engine, steering wheel, lights, and brakes. Some have a few more gadgets than others, but no matter which vehicle we get into, they all work the same. Digital SLR's are no different.
The learning has to be the same, irrespective of what make and model camera you own. So, we are going to teach you how to drive your SLR and become as confident with that, as you are when you drive our car. The very first thing to remember is that you do not need to be technically minded to become a great photographer. Knowing all the technicalities of photography will not make you a better photographer because photography is an art. Anyone with a passion and a willingness to learn can master photography and take photographs. Getting too technical while trying to learn any subject is actually a hinderance to that learning process. Here, we apply our usual techniques of taking things one step at a time while keeping out content as non technical as its possible to do.
If you interested in creating pictures like those you can see in our Galleries or in our slide shows, then read on and download our more detailed Pdf.

A quick thank you for the Techniques and Manipulation disk that arrived this morning. Although I have not yet had the chance to see it all, I can already tell that, in my opinion, it is the best one yet. The exposure and bracketing section is an excellent refresher course and reminds amateurs like me about many things we have forgotten, or maybe got lazy about.
The Pelican section is brilliant - and that is as far as I have got.
