How to Win Photographic Competitions
Suitable for all versions of Photoshop and Elements

This disk is something different from our usual tutorials, but please don't be put off by the title. I appreciate that I have already said some dirty words in some peoples eyes. I have suggested that some photographers want to win. Winning and being successful is not the be all and end all after all. Of course it is, but, I won't tell if you don't, so read on.
Many of the images I see presented, not only for photographic competitions are let down by simple things that the author could have dealt with fairly easily. Here we take you through all our thoughts and techniques to make sure you don't fall into the same pitfalls as others. I am sure it will come as little surprise to you, that the same things a photographic judge is looking for, so are we in our general photography.

A quick thank you for the Techniques and Manipulation disk that arrived this morning. Although I have not yet had the chance to see it all, I can already tell that, in my opinion, it is the best one yet. The exposure and bracketing section is an excellent refresher course and reminds amateurs like me about many things we have forgotten, or maybe got lazy about.
The Pelican section is brilliant - and that is as far as I have got.
