We
have tried to break down our seminars into Basic, Intermediate
and advanced, but it is not always so easy to do that. There
is just too much crossover and grey areas between basic/intermediate
and intermediate/advanced. Then added
into this mix is the different knowledge and abilities of
those attending and we often find that we do a bit of everything,
basic, intermediate and advanced.
We are pretty good at reacting
to questions and then demonstrating our answer to those
attending. This has always worked well and the group quickly
find a level. The whole point of the 4 person seminar is
that no-one is left behind.
You will not become a Photoshop
Guru after attending one of our seminars and anyone who
tells you different is lying to you. Photoshop is a difficult
program to learn, but you will go away from the day with
a lot more knowledge than you came with. In addition to
that it is often enough that you have seen something demonstrated,
even though it is not something you think you will ever
need. Some time later, if and when you find you do, then
at least you know what you wish to do is possible, because
you saw it demonstrated. One thing we always try to do is
give Email/phone support to
anyone who has attended our seminars and gets hung up on
some technique or project. So, we will list our seminars
under a category to allow you to try and pick the one that
suits you.
It
is not practical to bring laptops to try and follow along
with the author. We have tried that, but it just doesn't
work very well. You would think that it would, but our experience
is that it slows things down to such a degree that things
can grind to a halt. Different versions of Photoshop, difference
laptop specs and operating system are just a few of the
barriers to this way of learning.
If you want to bring
your laptop it is possible, but you really need to book
the day exclusively for yourself, or put together your own
small group and we can work to meet your needs, so call
us.
We encourage you to bring along
the images you are working on and we often find that works
far better. We are able to demonstrate just what you are
trying to do with your own images. Sometimes this may mean
that we tell you what you asking to do isn't practical,
but we will let you know why and demonstrate that too if
its possible. To see what we can cover in our seminars all
you really need to do is take a look at the topics on our
DVD's. Click the links below as an example.

list above are just a few of our DVD's, but reflect the
