Imagine- Ever since I was a boy, I was captivated by prehistoric times. I recall a radio show for schools back in the early 50's where the narrator spoke as if he was there, millions of years ago. I could almost see what he was describing. The inspiration came after reading an information board in the Tambourine Mountains in July 2011, which said that the vegetation we now see around us, is still much the same as it was 25 million years ago. The Rainforest - The Rainforest is a magical place and I am not sure an Audio Visual sequence does justice to it. Its one of those places where you do need not only the sights, but also the smells and the feel of the place. In some ways the Rainforest seems empty of life, yet we know, its actually teeming with life. |

Art of Photography - The techniques used here we have used before. On page 2 we have a slide show called the Art of Cornwall and this is a remake in a similar style, but with different images and a different filter style. You will not find these filter effects straight out of a filter box. They have to be created using multiple filter effects and various techniques. The Days are Blessings - This slide show is a little indulgence and was first made many years ago. We discarded it recently for being out of date. It would not run on a Mac and was made at a low resolution. Here I have remade the show, which is a very simple song by Jon Anderson that I have liked for decades. So, perhaps it is a little self indulgent, but what the heck, we have to please ourselves first......:-) |
